We had a fantastic stay at Albergue Espiritu Xacobeo! The husband and wife hosts were incredibly welcoming and showed us around the spotlessly clean premises. We rented a room with 4 beds, which essentially gave us our own private space and bathroom. The best part was that the heat was on, a true relief after getting caught in the rain. It's a peaceful place and our spacious family room with a private bathroom provided ample comfort. The owners even promptly responded to my email about a forgotten adaptor and Apple watch cable and agreed to mail them to my son in Madrid. The level of care and passion they put into their business is evident in every step they took to ensure our comfort and privacy. Furthermore, they are exceptional in customer service, going above and beyond to assist us, even taking me to a cash machine when I ran out of money. I highly recommend this hotel due to the warm hospitality and exceptional service provided by the owners.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right off the Camino and saves a couple of kilometers on the walk. the owner is incredibly kind and even drove guests to the supermarket. the facilities are very clean, with well-stocked kitchens and multiple showers available. the rooms are cozy and comfortable, with few beds and lockers provided. there is an indoor-outdoor area to enjoy fresh air and watch the sunset over the cornfield.

The breakfast could be improved to include more healthy and fulfilling options.

the cleanliness of the place was exceptional, and there was plenty of space, including common areas for everyone to enjoy. the staff was definitely the highlight as they were friendly and attentive. Everything in the place was brand new, and I wish the existing owner good luck for their future success.

He went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, even arranging transportation for me into town. The kitchens were well-equipped and the property was clean, with a spacious outdoor wash area. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and common spaces were all impeccably maintained. Señor Bernard also took great care of the property and offered additional services like providing rides to the pharmacy or supermarket if needed. The staff's attentiveness and the comfortable facilities made my stay truly memorable.

The location, just a short distance from the Camino, allowed for a peaceful and convenient stop. Despite the nearest supermarket being a couple of kilometers away, it didn't pose any inconvenience. The friendly and personable host made my stay even more memorable. I will definitely consider staying here again if I have the opportunity.

Plus, the outdoor space was inviting and well-kept. The location was convenient, saving a few kilometers on the walk compared to staying in Pedrouzo. the facilities were clean, comfortable, and provided a peaceful place to rest and recharge for the final stretch of the Camino de Santiago.

That the supermarket was a bit of a walk away, about 2 kilometers, although the host was willing to drive guests there if needed. However, given the overall positive experience at this hotel, this minor inconvenience is easily overlooked.
